Anybody got any views on the games in Croke Park over the weekend?. Personally I thought Tyrone were hard done by...but it was a very tough match. Wexford were very poor, but the Cork Waterford game was very entertaining, thought Waterford might have been able to hold out, but Cork were too good in the last few minutes.

nother frustrating day for Tyrone. Stephen O Neill was sent off in error. The referee has jsut too many jobs to do. It certainly is a difficult job. Surely it is time to give some of his duties to a fourth official perhaps the timekeeping and recording of yellow cars. The Ulster championship is a much sought after prize. I believe that Tyrrone would have held on with O Neill. I cant undestand wy Mulligan was kept so late to be used as a sub. There is a big game in Tyrone yet.
It is hard to see beyond a Cork Kilkenny final although an all munstr final would be interesting

I thought in the case of the Tyrone Armagh game, the referee decided the outcome of the game, before the Canavan and O'Neill sendings off they were on top...I think they will feeld hard done by. As for the hurling cannot see anybody except Kilkenny and Cork in the final...which isn't a bad thing they are the two best teams in the Country

It seems that the disciplinary committee have done correct thing (in my view) in relation to the armagh v tyrone game...
"In relation to the Bank of Ireland Ulster Football final replay on July 23rd, Tyrone footballers Peter Canavan and Stephen O'Neill who were both sent off were cleared of any charge. It was agreed to charge Ryan McMenamin (Tyrone), Paul McGrane (Armagh) and Ciaran McKeever (Armagh) arising out of incidents in the same game. "
